COORDINATOR – AIRPORT TERMINAL OPERATIONS

BAC’s Airport Operations Division requires a candidate to provide administrative and secretarial support to ensure that operations are maintained in an effective, up to date and accurate manner.
The Main Duties Will Include:
• Respond to inquiries (mail, phone, email) including communication internally and externally.
• Assist with the development and administration of various support programs and reports.
• Provide administrative support and coordination for the Office.
• Support creation of regular reports including data collection, analysis, write-up generation, and presentation.
• Provide administrative support to the office team, including correspondence, scheduling, conference calls and events coordination, maintenance of office supplies and equipment, calendars, etc.
• Processing of the department’s requests, invoices and other miscellaneous payments with the appropriate parties as required.
• Provide general secretarial and clerical assistance such as filing, dealing with correspondence, etc.
• Assist in preparing presentations and reports.
Required Competencies / Experience:
• Secretarial or Business Administration Diploma from a recognized institution.
• Minimum experience of 2 years in the same position.
• Good command of Arabic and English language.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.)

OFFICER – FLIGHT DATA MANAGEMENT

Job Purpose:
Responsible for the information accuracy, validation and security of the AODB, RMS, FIDS and shall ensure seamless interfaces with BRS, CUPPS, CUSS, VDGS, are monitored periodically. Assist Airport Operations the decision making process of the Airport operations in real time and timely escalation to the reporting manager aberrations in the allocation in accordance to the Airport operations control center – Operational Concept towards compliance to all the Airport CDM Key Performance targets of the Airport towards Efficiency, Safety and Punctuality.
The Main duties will include:
Overall Airport Process:
• Synchronize performance of all Airport process and sub-process so as to ensure that the Quality, Efficiency and Punctuality objectives of BIA are achieved in real time operations as per Euro control CDM for Level – 1 Milestone approach.
• Supports the process of passenger, baggage, aircraft and information at real time to achieve the airport objective of efficiency, safety and punctuality without losing designed level to airport service quality.
• Carries out day to day functioning of the APOC in a manner which is compliant with the ICAO & CAR -01 regulatory requirement and is in accordance with various BAC Policies, objectives and philosophy.
• Implements the resource allocation concept of the airport as defined in the seasonal plan.
• Action all relevant procedure during cancelled flight planned & unplanned.
• Support APOC to achieve seamless coordination with all Airport partners to ensure that the entire airport processes function well with high levels of resource utilizations
• Ensure the basic data for all the operating /planned aircrafts are entered in the system as per the defined procedure and in the prescribed format as in the AODB.
• Action short term flights approval in behalf of the Flight Schedule Officer during holidays and out of normal working hours.
Minimum Qualification: Bachelor degree in Aviation or equivalent
Minimum experience: Graduation with minimum 5 years of airport experience.
Sound knowledge of national and international civil aviation standards and recommended practices.
