BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

Job Description

The establishment of the Project Management Consultancies as a new business venture for PDO aim to commercialize PDO project management knowhow inside and outside PDO. PDO has been approved by the Omani council of ministers as an approved PMC for government projects. Recently there is potential opportunity to create JV for external security projects. there are also several business opportunities for PMC to pursue in Oman. To ensure the continuation of the business new business opportunities has to be explored and developed. The Business Development Manager is responsible for identifying prospective opportunities, developing customer relationships, implementing PMC marketing plan and developing external relations.

Job Description

To support PDO and the government’s long-term strategic objective in developing Super Local Community Contractors (SLCCs) and building the future roadmap for the SLCCs in the coming years that meets PDO and governments objectives and goals. In addition, maintain sustainable growth of SLCCs and create new opportunities for SLCCs while maintaining good working relationship with the tribes in PDO’s concession areas, government authorities & stakeholders.

Other Job Details

Bachelor in Business Administration, Social Science, Public Relations , Engineering or equivalent university degree. Minimum of 7 years experience in Business Development or commercial business, preferably in the Oil & Gas business industry.
