Service Desk Analyst

About the role
Gargash Enterprises Group is looking for an experienced Information Technology Service Desk Analyst to join their team in Dubai. In this role you will provide an effective and professional IT support service to the company, staff and clients in accordance with the needs of business. Provide first line support for incident resolution, to maintain a record of all requests for assistance in the call logging system, to ensure all calls are responded to within a timely manner and to take ownership of user problems; Provide Operates and maintains the IT Service Desk Ticket Logging system. Triage and direct unresolved issues to the next level of support personnel. Documents each issue, from initial call, ensure due diligence on user satisfaction and meeting agreed service levels. On a rotating work schedule, work with end users to address workstation issues in their departments. Maintain assets inventory.
Experience & Qualifications:
  • BSc/BA in IT, or Computer Science, or Bachelor of Science Information Systems.
  • Minimum of 3+ years’ Service Desk and/or Call Centre experience is required .
  • Incident Management and Problem Management experience – Managing incidents including business expectations and communication.
  • Keen attention to detail, memory of patterns, and interest in problem-solving.
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve basic technical issues.

Senior Systems Analyst-IT

About the role
Key job role is to engage with business process owners to determine optimal functionality of business application systems & design and develop new systems by choosing and configuring the correct System functions and technologies.
Handle software environments, end to end change management process, and facilitate SIT and UAT for ongoing support/enhancements/projects.
Prepare project support documents like data mapping & technical specifications, system architecture, transition plan, project progress status report, Defect Tracker (issue log) etc.
Provide first level support for issues raised by end-users, post-live support, and interact with internal IT teams/vendors to resolve issues, provide data/logs as and when required.
Experience & Qualifications:
  • 5 -7 Years of experience in a Systems Analysis and Design Role in UAE/GCC.

About the role
The purpose of this role is to manage the Gargash Enterprises Motors and General Trading machinery workshops in the most efficient productive safe and profitable manner leading and motivating the workshops team to go the extra mile and exceed customer expectations, achieve and exceed revenue and gross margin budgets and to closely liaise with visiting Principals.
Job responsibilities:
  • Interact with existing customer base and explore avenues of providing continued service of their equipment thereby increasing revenue and meeting departmental objectives.
  • Ensuring and maintaining the quality of service operations as per the Manufacturer’s specification both in house and on site.
  • Identify and report discrepancies in the quality of parts and machinery to the manufacturer and takes corrective action if necessary.
  • Liaise with the parts department to ensure availability of parts to customer and prevention of any lost sales due to delays.
  • Assess the credit worthiness of the customer and ensures that they make timely payments thereby minimising the risk of bad debts.
  • Ensure that personnel receive adequate training to keep them updated on product developments so as to continuously offer services of high standards.
Qualifications & Experience:
Graduate Mechanical / Automobile Engineer, with 6 to 8 years of post-qualification experience in managing a workshop
Must have heavy equipment / earth moving equipment/Excavators/Wheel loaders/ Sweepers experience in one or more of the following brands: CAT, Komatsu, Volvo

About the role
We are looking for experienced commercial Parts Salesman.
Job responsibilities:
  • Handle complete parts sales process of walk-in and telephone customers from enquiry to sales order process and achieve monthly budgeted net sales.
  • Ensure accurate identification of customers’ needs by means of parts catalogues and computer stock lists.
  • Responsible for credit customer’s follow-up of payments as per credit terms and conditions granted to the customers.
